Cold-Smoked Mackerel 400–600 g, headless, in a 1.5 kg box — the same as article 88, but headless (more clean flesh) and in a smaller pack.
Product Description
Headless means more edible portion per weight. The 400–600 g size is optimal: medium fat content, excellent texture after cold smoking.
How to Serve and Pair
- Thinly sliced on dark rye bread with butter
- On canapés with lemon and dill
- With jacket potatoes and marinated onion
- On a fish platter alongside herring and hot-smoked mackerel
- With light beer or with dry white wine
Storage
Store in the refrigerator at +2…+6 °C. Vacuum-packed — up to 14 days; non-vacuum — 5–7 days. Can be vacuum-packed and frozen for up to 2–3 months without significant loss of flavour. The exact shelf life is shown on the label.
