Frozen corn
Frozen corn in standard packaging and in a 400 g pack. These are kernels of milky-wax ripeness from corn cobs — sweet, juicy, without a tough shell. Universal raw material for salads (in particular, «Crab» and «Olivier»), side dishes, stews, vegetable cream soups, Mexican dishes (burrito, nachos). Cook for 3–5 minutes in water or 5–7 minutes in a pan.

How raw materials for freezing are selected
Frozen vegetables are not a «winter batch» of vegetables that have been sitting for a long time. This is harvest at the peak of the season with rapid processing.
- Seasonal harvest. Vegetables are harvested at peak ripeness: peas — May-June, milky-wax corn — July-August, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers — August-September.
- Fast processing. From harvest to freezing — less than 24 hours. This is a guarantee of maximum freshness.
- Calibration and washing. Vegetables are sorted by size, washed in running water. Defective specimens are screened out.
- Blanching. Short-term (1–2 minutes) blanching in hot water deactivates enzymes that spoil color and flavor during long storage.
- Shock freezing. At -35…-40 °C for 15–30 minutes. Small ice crystals do not damage cells.
- Packaging. In dense polyethylene bags that preserve temperature and protect from «freezer burns».
How to use frozen vegetables
- For salads. Corn for «Crab», «Olivier», «Greek» — defrost, add to other ingredients.

How to store and cook frozen vegetables
Storage. In the freezer at -18 °C — up to 12 months. At -25 °C and below — up to 18 months. Store in tightly closed packaging. If you've opened the bag — return to the freezer in a zip-bag or glass container.
Cooking. Do not defrost vegetables — add directly to the hot dish. Classic methods:
- Classic — in water. Boil salted water, add vegetables, cook 3–7 min until soft.
- Steamed. 5–10 minutes in a steamer. Preserves maximum vitamins.
- In a pan. Heat oil, add vegetables, stew for 7–10 minutes over medium heat.
- In a soup. Add 7–10 minutes before the soup is ready.
- In the oven. With meat — place in a form with vegetables, bake 30–40 min at +180 °C.
- For a salad. Defrost in cold water for 5 minutes or in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, drain the water.
