Product Description
Silver carp loin is a traditional delicacy of Ukrainian fish cuisine. The fattiest and most flavourful part, without bones. In cold smoking it gains a firm texture and a pronounced smoky aroma. One of the best forms of smoked freshwater fish.
How to Serve and Pair
- With jacket potatoes and marinated onion
- On a sandwich with dark rye bread
- On a fish platter alongside other smoked fish varieties
- With light beer or with dry white wine
- As an ingredient in salads
Storage
Store in the refrigerator at +2…+6 °C. Vacuum-packed — up to 14 days; non-vacuum — 5–7 days. Can be vacuum-packed and frozen for up to 2–3 months without significant loss of flavour. The exact shelf life is shown on the label.
