Product Description
Sub-skin meat is the premium of salmon cuts: the most tender, with a delicate flavour, with no excess fat. In cold smoking it gains a firm texture and a pronounced smoky aroma.
How to Serve and Pair
- Thinly sliced on dark rye bread with butter
- On canapés with dill, lemon and cream cheese
- In a salad with arugula, avocado and pine nuts
- On a fish platter, as a premium item
- With dry white wine or brut champagne
Storage
Store in the refrigerator at +2…+6 °C. Vacuum-packed — up to 14 days; non-vacuum — 5–7 days. Can be vacuum-packed and frozen for up to 2–3 months without significant loss of flavour. The exact shelf life is shown on the label.
