Product Description
Cold smoking gives mackerel a firm, springy texture and a pronounced smoky flavour. The steak shape is convenient for slicing into thin strips for canapés or alongside potatoes.
How to Serve and Pair
- On a slice of dark rye bread with lemon and dill
- With boiled jacket potatoes
- On a fish platter alongside matjes herring
- Thinly sliced on canapés
- With light beer or dry white wine
Storage
Store in the refrigerator at +2…+6 °C as specified on the packaging. Once opened, consume within 2–3 days. The exact shelf life is shown on the label.
