Matjes is the Dutch technique for curing young fatty herring. In salted-frozen format it keeps for a long time. Premium raw material for preserve production or restaurants.

Storage

Store in the freezer at -18 °C as specified on the packaging. Defrost in the refrigerator. Do not refreeze. The exact shelf life is shown on the packaging.
