Product Description

Squid rings are the most convenient format: already cut into equal portions, ready to blanch or fry. Suited to seafood salads, tempura, risotto and paella.

How to Cook

• Blanch for 1–2 minutes in salted water (don't overcook!)
• Pan-fry for 2–3 minutes per side
• In a salad with vegetables and olive oil
• As an ingredient in pasta or risotto
• Grill for 1–2 minutes per side

Storage and Defrosting

Store in the freezer at -18 °C as specified on the packaging. Defrost slowly in the refrigerator over 8–12 hours — this preserves the flavour and structure of the flesh. Do not defrost in the microwave or in warm water. Once defrosted, consume within 24 hours; do not refreeze. The exact shelf life is shown on the packaging.
