Product Description
Headless and gutted — a fully ready-to-cook product. The large weight gives savings per unit and the option to handle the fish at restaurant-kitchen scale.
How to Cook
- Bake in the oven with spices and lemon — 15–20 min at 180 °C
- Pan-fry — 4–5 minutes per side
- Steam with vegetables — 10–12 minutes
- Grill or barbecue — 6–8 min per side
- Raw as sashimi or ceviche (with certified raw-grade fish)
Storage and Defrosting
Store in the freezer at -18 °C as specified on the packaging. Defrost slowly in the refrigerator over 8–12 hours — this preserves the flavour and structure of the flesh. Do not defrost in the microwave or in warm water. Once defrosted, consume within 24 hours; do not refreeze. The exact shelf life is shown on the packaging.
